EQUILOISIRS – FAE

The Corte equestrian centre, Equiloisirs - FAE, has been offering a wide range of activities since 1995. As an accredited “Equestrian Tourism Centre”, we offer rides suitable for beginners aged 3 and over. Nestled in the heart of the mountains, by the river, enjoy a unique experience with our experienced team of riders. Activities: - Horse riding treks and rides - Riding club - Horse riding holidays Ride / Swim (4 hours): €110 (This ride offers a unique experience through river valleys and the maquis to the Pont de Torchia for a swim break. Just enough time to enjoy a complimentary snack, and then it’s already time to head back to the equestrian centre. Meet at 8.30 am. June to September – Beginners and above). Discovery ride (1h30): €50 (An introduction to horse riding in the heart of the mountains with breathtaking views over the Cortenais valley. All year round – (Beginners). Led pony ride (30 mins): €15 (Pony led by an accompanying adult on a fun, signposted trail along the banks of the Tavignanu. All year round – (3 to 8 years). Full-day ‘River’ trek: €140 (Meet at 9 am). We saddle up and set off towards the hills overlooking the banks of the River Tavignano, before reaching a magnificent picnic spot for lunch, lapped by the crystal-clear waters. A relaxing break with a chance to swim before returning to the riding centre. Please bring a small bag with your personal belongings for lunchtime (swimming). Picnic included. From October to May – (Beginners and above). 1-day “Mountain” ride: €160 (Full-day ride with a meal at a village inn. Meet at 9.00 am, briefing on the day’s itinerary. Get to know the horses and set off for the day. Ride through the mountains overlooking the river towards the village of Alando for a hearty meal at the local inn.
