The Restonica Trail is a prestigious sporting event integrated into the “UTMB World Series” circuit. It is now one of the 30 most prestigious world events in the ultra-trail world. In a most convivial atmosphere, we cross the most sumptuous landscapes of the Corsican mountains, the land of summer pastures, the altitude lakes passing by the highest Corsican massifs, the Cintu massif and the Rotondo massif with passes at 2500 m including the crossing of the highest point of the GR20. An unmissable sporting event on the Island of Beauty, the offers a wide choice of events with 4 race formats from 15 to 110 kilometers supplemented by a walk. The flagship Ultra-Trail di Corsica (UTC) event of 110km and 7200 meters of elevation gain is reserved for seasoned runners on technical terrain who take the GR 20 trails in particular. Note that this race is also offered as a relay up to 4 people. The Restonica Trail 69 km and 4000 m D+, the Tavignanu Trail 33 km and 2500 m D+ and the Giru Di Tumbone 17 km and 650 D+ complete the programme. This sporting event offers a three-day loop itinerary that begins and ends in Corte. It is in an exceptional setting in the heart of an immaculate natural heritage that athletes will be able to challenge themselves. Between the stages, intermissions to this incredible spectacle are planned; meals, rest and physiotherapists will await the participants.
