NOVECENTO

NOVECENTO

From 03/12 to 03/12.

Concert: NOVECENTO, THE PIANIST ON THE OCEAN, Thursday 3 December 2026 at 6.30 pm. The Camerata Figarella presents Novecento, a play by Alessandro Baricco, directed by Arthur Daniel and performed by the actor Sampiero Medori alongside the musicians Noé Clerc, Anthony Caillet, Noé Nillni, Esther Pamelard and Lauriane Maudry. Legend has it that certain journeys, certain wanderings, are so intimate and profound that they need no vertigo from the solid ground. Novecento, a musical prodigy and an orphan adopted and raised by the crew of the Virginian – a transatlantic liner from the early 20th century – could be the embodiment of this. In this production, the music is at once flashes of memory, the narrator’s inner voice and intimate traces.
