Script awarded the ARTCENA 2024 national grant for the creation of dramatic texts; winner of the SACD 2025 theatre fund; company supported by ONDA. It is a story of things left unsaid, of violence, of silences. It is a modest story. It is the story of a teenage girl. She discovers that her life is neither normal nor acceptable. It is her journey of restraint and fear, and we cannot force her to move any faster. She encounters the other. She begins to speak. The staging of this play requires respect for that very rhythm. Nothing must disturb the wounded animal, lest it flee. It needs time to come to life. We must hear the words when they choose to emerge. On stage, there are three bodies expressing themselves; there are two people speaking to one another. ‘Once written and performed, the play moves, captivates and deeply affects the audience. The emotions are raw. We find ourselves swept up and overcome by an intensity that only live theatre can convey.’ Kilian Orain / TéLérama.
