Parc Galea - Public interview with Yolanda Filidori and Frédéric Bosseur: "HIGH-PERFORMANCE COMPUTING: at the service of digital simulation". Yolanda Filidori, a research engineer in scientific computing, and Frédéric Bosseur, a CNRS research engineer in the "Sciences Pour l'Environnement" laboratory at the University of Corsica and the CNRS, will be taking part in a wide-ranging public discussion on Sunday 6 September from 2.00 pm as part of the Sunday meetings at Parc Galea. In this talk, we invite you to discover the world of High-Performance Computing and its application to various research themes conducted within the CNRS SPE laboratory at the University of Corsica. We will begin with a few technical considerations and then present some of the most significant results. This public talk will be followed by a lecture at 3pm by Davis Elbaz, astrophysicist, entitled "La formation de l'univers racontée par le lumière". This initiative is part of the PIA UNIversité: pour la Transformation au service des territoires Insulaires méditerranéens, supported by the University of Corsica.
