‘Cybercombattante’ conference: Johanna Brousse is a first-grade magistrate. Following her studies at the École Nationale de la Magistrature (class of 2010), she served as an assistant public prosecutor attached to the Public Prosecutor General of the Paris Court of Appeal, and subsequently as deputy public prosecutor at the Paris Judicial Court. She joined the cybercrime unit in September 2017 and took over as its head in September 2020. This unit has national jurisdiction over the fight against cybercrime. It forms part of the National Jurisdiction for the Fight against Organised Crime (JUNALCO), attached to the Paris Public Prosecutor’s Office. Johanna Brousse also regularly takes part in training initiatives, notably at the National School for the Judiciary (ENM – Co-director of cybercrime training sessions), the IHEDN, the Bar Training School (EFB), the Universities of Paris (Paris I and Paris II) and Sciences Po Paris. She has also carried out various international expert assignments in the field of combating cybercrime (Council of Europe, Expertise France).
