Stonda: CORSICAN CHESTNUT FLOUR ‘Whoever touches it, kneads it’, Wednesday 25 November 2026 at 6.00 pm, Carine Franchi. In 1991, the Regional Association of Corsican Chestnut and Marron Producers and Processors was founded. Men and women came together to protect and promote the Corsican chestnut. The quality criteria for chestnut flour were established in partnership with the INRA Centre in Corti and the University of Corsica. In 2026, we shall celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Association for the Defence and Promotion of the Quality of Corsican Chestnut Flour, and the 20th anniversary of the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO), Corsican Chestnut Flour. This event will be an opportunity to reflect on the journey towards the recognition and promotion of the Corsican chestnut, blending tradition, research and innovation, with activities and delicious treats to discover and sample.
