Parc Galea - Public interview with Pierre Antoine Tomasi. "TRADITIONS, USAGES ET COUTUMES DU DROIT CORSE: quelle actualité au XXIe siècle? Pierre Antoine Tomasi, Senior Lecturer in Public Law with the "Équipe Méditerranéenne de Recherche Juridique" at the University of Corsica, will be taking part in a major public discussion on Sunday 19 April from 2.00 pm as part of the Sunday meetings at Parc Galea. An exploration of the island's unique legal roots, questioning the place of customary practices in contemporary law and how they relate to current institutional frameworks. An enlightening reflection on Corsican legal identity between heritage and modernity. This public interview will be followed by a talk at 3pm by Ghislaine Dehaene, paediatrician and neuroscientist, entitled "In the brains of babies: at the origin of our human capacity". This initiative is part of the PIA UNIversité: pour la Transformation au service des territoires Insulaires méditerranéens, supported by the University of Corsica.
