RESISTANCES BACTERIENNES : COMMENT LES DEJOUER ?
Sports/loisirs/sciences
From 31/05 to 31/05.
Parc Galea - Public talk with Elisa Hardy "BACTERIAL RESISTANCE: how to play it". Elisa Hardy, Research Engineer and Doctor in Biology and Molecular Biochemistry at the "Sciences Pour l'Environnement" laboratory of the University of Corsica and the CNRS, will be taking part in a major public talk on Sunday 31 May from 2pm as part of the Sunday meetings at Parc Galea. Pathogenic bacteria are constantly evolving in the face of the antibiotics used by humans. They have intrinsic defence mechanisms and are also capable of acquiring or developing new resistances, gradually rendering part of our therapeutic arsenal ineffective. Faced with this evolutionary race, research must constantly innovate to maintain effective solutions in the fight against bacterial infections. This public talk will be followed by a talk at 3pm by Nadine Cerf-Bensussan, immunologist, entitled "Microbiota and immunity: a hidden ecosystem essential to our health". This initiative is part of the PIA UNIversité: pour la Transformation au service des territoires Insulaires méditerranéens, supported by the University of Corsica. Rendez-vous : Sunday 31 May 2026 from 2pm to 3pm. Parc Galea, Taglio Isolaccio. Proposed by : Laboratoire Sciences Pour l'Environnement (CNRS / Université de Corse), Mission science avec et pour la société. In partnership with : Parc Galea.
