Pasquale Paoli and comic strips. To mark the 300th anniversary of the birth of Pasquale Paoli, the University Library of Corsica is presenting its collection of comic strips based on the figure of Pasquale Paoli. On Tuesday 07 October 2025 from 3pm, a round table discussion will be led by Battista Pallini, a student on the History 2 degree course and a member of the Storia 97 association, in the presence of authors Hélène Constanty, author of Une histoire du nationalisme corse (A history of Corsican nationalism) and Frédéric Bertocchini, author of Paoli, a comic strip series in 6 volumes, as well as Léo Battesti. The opening of the exhibition will take place after the round table. The comic strips will be on display from 06 October to 12 October 2025 in the hall of the university library on the Desanti campus.
