On the 2nd weekend in June, the regional horse fair, "Cavall'in festa", is a not-to-be-missed event for the island's equine industry and farmers. Equestrian shows and parades, activities for children, rides, carriages, acrobatics and dressage. - Saturday morning: a grand parade through the town of Corte, giving riders the chance to show off their mounts. A great night-time show, western riding, pony-games, horse-ball, show-jumping, acrobatics, dressage, mule-driving..... Evening events: -for the first time this year there will be a pre-opening evening on Friday 6 June at 8.30pm hosted by Guillaume Santini, refreshments and foodtrucks on site. Saturday 7 June: 6pm musical aperitif with Mandeo under the big top, 9pm big night-time equestrian show with Louisa Kaczmar and L'Ecole des Roys, then 10.30pm musical evening with the Spice Boys (petru Paulu Lorenzi). -Saturday 7 June: 9.30 am: Departure from Chabrières of the horse parade towards the town. And official opening of the fair. - Presentations of horses of all breeds and breeding horses. -Equestrian events: - bending pole -Count your points -Barrel race -mounted manoeuvrability -horse games -Power (which will close the fair on Sunday) -Pony village: 2 days from 3pm to 6pm With craft workshops, photo corner, fun games, circus school, face painting, pony rides and carriage rides. -Presence of the MSA and RL Production for fall prevention on horseback. -Animal traction Round-table discussions with the CRE (regional riding committee) and IFCE (French horse and riding institute). -demonstrations of farriery, dentistry, etc. -U Sumeru Corsu association, demonstrations and competitions. Arabian horse demonstrations and prize-giving ceremony for the Corsican Endurance Championship. PRESENTATION OF HORSES AND STABLES: ??BOXS Interested parties can now contact Emilie to reserve their stalls. Reservations can be made for the whole weekend or for Sunday only.
