Cuncertu: Aria puetica, Thursday 05 February 2026 at 6.30pm. Through her show, Francesca Cananzi, a young singer and actress, evokes the authenticity of Corsica's past by combining song, theatre and video. Her contralto voice, with its nuances borrowing from both the timbre of the fado and the musicality of Corsican song, captures the essence of the island. The artist is steeped in the work of her grandfather, the poet, singer and composer Francescu Vincenti. Carrying with her this cultural and artistic heritage, the young performer reinvents the repertoire of the Vincenti brothers and presents an original musical show. Her singular voice becomes the instrument that reveals the Corsica of yesteryear and looks to the future.
