Parc Galea - Public interview with Romain Colonna: "LEARNING CORSICAN: a social act in the face of a minority language". Romain Colonna, senior lecturer in sociolinguistics at the "Places, Identities, Spaces and Activities" laboratory of the University of Corsica and the CNRS, will be taking part in a major public talk on Sunday 26 April from 2pm as part of the Sunday meetings at Parc Galea. What are the specific features of learning Corsican in a context of linguistic decline? Is it learned like any other language? What techniques should be used? And what is the social dimension of such learning? These are just some of the questions that raise the crucial issue of the future of the Corsican language! Reflections and perspectives... This public talk will be followed by a lecture at 3pm by Johann Chapoutot, historian, entitled "L'ascension d'Hitler: lorsque la démocratie cède devant le fascisme".
