The Commune of Calacuccia, nestling in the heart of the Niolu region, is organising the third edition of A Chjama di a Muntagna. It's the love of this land and the treasures it contains that has inspired local people to take up the challenge of showcasing local produce and authentic, traditional skills. The desire to share all this richness and to showcase the magnificent Niolu region and its people, led the commune to create a gathering based around a love of ancestral crafts, gourmet dishes and respect for the flora and fauna that surround us here. The culture of this region is enriching, which is why a number of conferences on key subjects will be presented. You'll also be able to find out how certain old tools were used, learn about the farrier's trade and see how saddle-stitched hand-sewn bracelets are made. Does the multitude of peaks and hikes make you want to get to know these landscapes and your physical limits even better? Then you should know that several sporting outings and a race are organised.
