NOUS SOMMES LA SOMME DE NOUS

NOUS SOMMES LA SOMME DE NOUS

From 21/01 to 21/01.

Concert: WE ARE THE SUM OF OURSELVES, Thursday 21 January 2027 at 6.30 pm. A production born of ashes and fire: in February 2022, singer Cora Laba was in Kyiv (Ukraine) to create a repertoire inspired by the 2014 Maidan Revolution, which she experienced first-hand. Once again, she found herself caught up in the flames – this time those of war, which drove her from her beloved city. To reclaim the soundscape from the din of weapons, she joined forces with two Ukrainian musicians: Iurii Khustochka, a musician and producer known for founding the bands Okean Elsy and Esthetic Education, and his loyal musical partner of twenty years, drummer Andrii Nadolskyi. As a trio, they compose magical musical arrangements to exorcise the unbearable reality of war and celebrate the light revealed by darkness. A poetic narrative for a shared human landscape.
