L’ANTICU NUCETA, Thursday 8 October 2026 at 6.30 pm, Genre: Documentary, Screenplay: Léa Lazzarini, Languages: Corsican, French, Running time: 30 minutes. This documentary traces the evolution of the village of Noceta, from the early 20th century through to the 1980s and beyond. Through archive footage, photographs and the testimonies of former residents, the film highlights the changes in everyday life. These personal accounts reflect a wider phenomenon affecting the whole of Corsica: the gradual decline of agriculture and the changes in lifestyle that have characterised this century. Testimonies were gathered from Pauline Rossi, a former resident of Noceta, and Paul Paolacci, a former mayor of Noceta. Music by Paulo Quilici, Les Guitares du Maquis, Charles Rocchi, L’Arcusgi and I Chjami Aghjalesi.
