Des pierres et des hommes - Trà mani è anima" exhibition To mark the completion of restoration work on the Castellu of the Citadel of Corti, the Collectivité de Corse is presenting the photographic exhibition "Des pierres et des hommes - Trà mani è anima", by photographer Florence Lega. Through a series of photographs taken on site, the exhibition highlights the men and women involved in the restoration of this emblematic monument. Precise gestures, know-how, traditional techniques, passion for the job: Florence Lega reveals what is often hidden behind the preservation of a historic heritage. Her sensitive documentary pays tribute to the craftsmen and workers who, through their commitment, are helping to preserve the cultural identity of the site. The images bear witness to the beauty of the materials, the demanding nature of the work and the profound relationship between stone, the hand and memory. A native of Cap Corse, Florence Lega's photography focuses on people, gestures, encounters and life stories. In this exhibition, she combines her artistic approach with a desire to pass on her work, highlighting the crafts and skills involved in heritage restoration. The exhibition can be seen at the Citadelle of Corti, at the Museu di a Corsica, until April 2027.
