Terra di Corsica is a Corsican vocal ensemble made up of 5 singers accompanied by a guitar. The group perpetuates the tradition of polyphony and traditional songs from the island, handed down from generation to generation for centuries. The repertoire offers a journey through the soul of Corsica: sacred songs, paghjelle, lamenti, lullabies and shepherds' songs, performed a cappella or accompanied on guitar. Each concert offers an immersive experience combining emotion, spirituality and cultural identity, particularly suited to the exceptional acoustics of churches and heritage sites. Terra di Corsica was formed by passionate singers with deep roots in their own culture, and performs regularly both in Corsica and on the mainland, with a clear mission: to bring the richness of Corsica's musical heritage to a wide audience, whether local or visiting.
