Parc Galea - Public talk with Ouafa El Idrissi: "THE MEDITERRANEAN VIOLET BEAR: a precious bioindicator! Ouafa El Idrissi, senior lecturer in population biology and ecology at the "Sciences Pour l'Environnement" laboratory of the University of Corsica and the CNRS, will be taking part in a major public talk on Sunday 10 May from 2pm as part of the Sunday meetings at Parc Galea. Trace elements" are contaminants that are widely distributed in the marine environment and can have deleterious effects. The study of purple sea urchins contributes to the development of tools for monitoring the ecological quality of coastal waters. This public talk will be followed by a lecture at 3pm by Hervé Javelot, Doctor of Pharmacy, entitled "The impact of medicines: what are the issues for our health and our societies? This initiative is part of the PIA UNIversité: pour la Transformation au service des territoires Insulaires méditerranéens, supported by the University of Corsica.
