Teatru: We wait for no one (Veghja), Tuesday 31 March 2026 at 6:30pm. Misandra Fondacci. COMPANY: AIME AU CARRÉ. Director: Misandra Fondacci. Cast: Annabelle Coti, Misandra Fondacci, Sampiero Medori, Alizée Pinelli, Pierrick Tonelli. A corridor leading to the dead woman's room. Three chairs in a row in front of the dead woman's door; one for each of them: Paola, the sister; Emmanuel, the older brother; Andrée, his wife. A corridor, like a mortuary or a waiting room: between life and death, the end of one life and the beginning of another. One chair for each of them, not one more: they're not waiting for anyone. But then Pacôme, the youngest brother, arrives. The already narrow corridor seems to shrink even further. No more chairs were added. Pacôme was not expected, not wanted. But his arrival shifts the cursor and each of us, in turn, takes on the role of the stranger. The mother speaks, soliloquises, from the other side of the veil. Already outside the story. Silences, cries, unspoken words, misunderstandings, differences of interpretation: these are the things that keep the characters, living and dead, in their respective solitudes. And at the heart of these silences and cries is a question - perhaps the only real one - that of love: "We loved each other, though, I think. At some point in our lives, the five of us loved each other. No ? "
