The traces of yesterday nourish those of today. These ephemeral, intangible traces suggest a cultural mimeticism in which the traces of an era, a style or a generation are passed on and imitated by the next, through time. Like a game of mirrors in which the traces left behind are taken up and reflected by another, as if the space were traversed by a series of reflections of the same movement, it is the imprint that is then reproduced or imitated, creating a continuous chain of interactions or influences. L'écume des traces evokes the notion of the invisible and refers to the idea of leaving imprints, memories, what has been, what can be seen, dissipates almost immediately, but where each movement, each trace, is like a breath or a passage. What heritage should we build on? Should memory be forgotten or passed on? The idea is to question the heritage that lies within us in the light of the gestures and writings we have passed through. I'd like to propose an open framework in which what moves us is combined in a play of resonances, to extract a body of gestures and choreographic fragments. A peer-to-peer transmission to keep the chain of creation alive and continue to celebrate a shared world.
