FABIEN GAVEAU Fabien Gaveau is an associate professor of history, specialising in rurality through the interactions between societies and the environments in which they live. Corsica is one of his favourite areas of research. The conference focuses on the making of the landscape, the shaping of a place by a culture, in this case the vine, from an environmental and societal perspective. Two regions are used as examples, Taravu and Capicorsu, to show the great diversity of the island.
