Cuncertu: Tarraniu - I Versi Arabini, Thursday 29 January 2026 at 6.30pm. Tarraniu is a musical project born in 2024, driven by the ambition to reconnect Corsican music with its Mediterranean roots. Made up of four seasoned musicians, the group draws on a variety of historical influences to fashion an original, immersive sound universe. It offers a deep insight into a shared heritage, exploring the links that unite the shores of the Mediterranean. From North African rhythms to Eastern harmonies, from Occitan melodies to Italian colours, Tarraniu tells a story of transmission, migration and encounters. In a world where cultural boundaries seem increasingly rigid, Tarraniu chooses to celebrate what unites rather than what divides. Each piece becomes a bridge, a living crossing of history. Tarraniu's members have made their mark on the Corsican music scene, playing with renowned groups such as Alba, Giramondu, Zamballarana and A Cumpagnia. They have also broadened their horizons through international collaborations, including work with electro artist Mr. Oizo.
