PASQUALE PAOLI ET LA JUSTICE
Sports/loisirs/sciences
From 16/10 to 16/10.
Series of lectures: Pasquale Paoli and justice - Justice in Paoli's Constitution and founding texts. The Faculty of Law and Political Science, the Équipe Méditerranéenne de Recherche Juridique (Mediterranean Legal Research Team) and the Lieux Identités eSpaces Activités (Places, Identities and Spaces) laboratory are organising a series of lectures on the theme of Pasquale Paoli and justice. In adopting the Corsican Constitution, Pasquale Paoli, a forerunner, envisaged the separation of executive, legislative and judicial powers. It was an innovative conception of power. This series of thematic lectures will focus on the contribution of this concept to the organisation of justice during this period, during the Revolution and its repercussions on positive law. Another lecture is scheduled for 18 November 2025: Image and symbols of justice.
